MISSIONS FROM 'THE WINGMAN' NOVEL SERIES

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Unfortunately, do to space restrictions, I have been forced to remove all the Wingman Mission Files. They are, however, safe at home, stored for anyone who may wish them. Just use the email addy at the bottom, and I'll send the out to you. Thanks for looking, and understanding!

Welcome to The Aerodrome, Pilots! You are the =missing counter= member of the UAAF to protect and defend New America.

HERE NOW: ALL THE MISSION SETS,WITH THEIR OWN LIBS - NO OTHER LIB REQUIRED!!!

6/4/04 - All sets removed to regain storage space for Strike Fighters stuff.

3/25/00 - New versions of 'Lucifer Crusade', 'Twisted Cross, and 'Thunder in the East' have been uploaded. Fixed some bugs I found, tweaked some missions, added some new ones, etc. You can find them below. All have some small improvement; see the 'readmes' in each one.

3/19/00 - A new version of 'The Circle War' has been uploaded. New textures on the Yak's, several new missions; many old ones have been cleaned up. Some new objects. And the original will be left up until the end of the month, when I remove it and the original zip of 'The Final Storm'. Enjoy!!!

3/5/00 - A new version of 'The Final Storm has been uploaded. It has new textures on some of the airplanes, several bug fixes, and a bunch of NEW missions!!! I'm also leaving the original version up for while, just for grins. I may also do some repairs on 'Lucifer Cruasde', 'Thunder in the East', and 'Twisted Cross', as I now have some new textures and objects to add

1/30/00 - Ok, I lied! Pat was able to retrieve the missing mission and briefing files; wonderful woman that she is, she dumped everything to the network! So, 'Skyfire' and 'War of the Sun' are intact and safe here on my hard drive and zip disc -- I've learned to back up my work! Work continues on the super-big 'Sky Ghost/Ruturn of SkyGhost' set. I'v got over 20 missions built, and haven't even scratched the 2nd book!

10/10/99 - Well, 'Skyfire', 'War of the Sun' and several other mission sets may be lost forever -- I had a crash of the 'D' drive, and after the wife's company is moved, and settled in the MIS Director will try and retrieve to lib, m and mt files from it. Wish me luck -- that's over a years worth of work that may be "just gone". But there are some screen shots from 'The Sky Ghost/Return of Sky Ghost' set on the Sneak Previews Page.

9/19/99 - Been a while since I updated here, so this is what's happening: 'Skyfire' is on hold for a while; I'd skipped ahead to 'War of the Sun', which is also on hold; and I'm now working on one combined mission set that will have the conversions from 'The Sky Ghost' and 'Return of Sky Ghost'. The lib is built, with several NEW textures, most of the WW2-1997 aircraft and stripped out and relabeled maps. This will be my most ambitious 'Wingman' project to date. There are some screen shots on the 'Sneak Previews' page.

2/7/99 - Uploaded a NEW version of 'Wingman #1'. I've added a few new missions, and a lot of new objects; planes, etc. I also cleaned up Football City by rebuilding it using a few different 'city objects', and rearranged the Stadium to look better.

11/5/98 - I've decieded to NOT do 'Freedom Express', since it dosen't lend itself for mission creation too easily, espically since FA dosen't give you any 'train' objects. Even with tweeking items in the ToolKit, I'm not happy with the result. So, the next Wingman novel to be converted will be Skyfire. Preliminary work is already in progress...

11/98 - NEW Wingman Chat Room! Mr. Maloney has created a room on the Undernet, channel #skyfire. You must have mIRC or similar chat client to access it. Usual time are 1pm EST, since it seem like I'm the only one on the West Coast...

Rebuilt for use in FA ONLY. These have been designed to be used in a 'clean' FA install -- with no other libs. They have been tested in BOTH the 714 and Vark FA libs, but it is reccomended that NO other libs be active. From now on, all the 'Wingman' mission sets will be for FA ONLY. Sorry, ATFG players....just too much work and ATFG has become too unstable and I'm just not going to mess with it anymore. And FA has all those cool extra maps...

NEW!!! 8/8/98 -- Updated ALL mission sets -- I've been able to port over some shape and pic files from some other libs (most notably P.Mok's 'Project Blue' for T-Bird textures, and Alex ATF/NATO's lib...now the Tornados in 'Lucifer Crusade' have a Desert Camo scheme!!! This is the way I wanted to release it in the first place! Dump the old sets, and get the updated graphics! They really DO look much better this way!

The WINGMAN #6: 'THE FINAL STORM' The United American Armed Forces have located and captured that arch-traitor, the ex-Vice President of the United States, and have brought him back for the Trial of the Millenium.
