pilot at the box-office. Enjoy the movie!Welcome Pilots! After seeing a trend on 'what avaition/military/war movies should I have'on several message boards, I decieded to create this page with a listing, as comprehensive as possible, on genre films available on home video.
The sections are broken down by eras, WW1, inter-war years, WW2, Korean/1950's era, Vietman, Modern Era. I'll also post a wish list, for films we'd like to see, but either can't or haven't been made. The list is in no particular order, just as the films came to memory, or from reference books (see at the bottom of the page)
I'll be marking the 'known availables' with colored stars. This will include those available both on home video (VHS or DVD), or shown on cable TV stations (example: American Movie Classics, Turner Classic Movies)
Please feel free to email me with suggestions, espically on foreign films not usually seen, or available in America!
This first section deals with ONLY films directly involving avaition and airpower.
